Yesterday was so busy at work. Every time I set the phone down, it would ring again!
I need to go in early today so I can get some paperwork done! I am falling behind… My office looks like a tornado went through! And the owner is coming in tomorrow… I have only met this man once, so I like to look as organized as possible! Therefore, I am going in early today. When I get the paperwork done I will move on to the organizing I began on Friday!
Yesterday I was pulled over! I had no idea why… The officer came up to the window and retrieved my driver’s license and proceeded to tell me I was going a little fast. I was honest with him. I told him I was discussing something with my son and I must pay closer attention. As I waited I said a small prayer, “God, please don’t let me get a ticket.”
What a nice officer. He came back with my license and said, “Watch your speed.” I promised I would and continued home~~~ with a great big smile on my face, after I said “Thank You” of course.
Well, my Tuesday is about to begin in full force! I will sit here {dry-heaving for some odd reason!}and drink my first cup of coffee. I try not to wake my son up in the morning. I will let him wake on his own, whenever possible. If he doesn’t crawl out of bed by 7:15 I send the dog up to rouse him! This way I don’t have to join the fight until a little later, and he loves being woken by the dog!! He gets her to lay with him for a bit, it is a relaxing way to begin a school day.
When he finally gets downstairs {after about 15-30 minutes [depending on his mood] of telling him to get dressed} we start with the “What do you want for breakfast” “I’m not hungry” routine! Usually I convince him that an egg and cheese sandwich would be awesome! He used to like cheese omelets. Or, as he so adorably picked up from Dexter’s Laboratory at the tender age of 3, he may occasionally ask for ‘une omelette de fromage.’ It is really cute!!!
Well, I just sent the dog up!!! Five minutes, then I am on my way upstairs. I suppose I should’ve gotten dressed before I sat down at the computer!
That has always been a big problem with me! I love the computer… My husband HATES the computer. My son also loves MY Dell. He’s been playing games on the computer since he was about three, when my mother got our first computer. I say ‘our’ computer because of course I went to mom’s to use it. That is when I got my FIRST email account. Then, when Mom upgraded that computer became mine! So it was OUR first computer.
Then about three or four Christmases ago, “Dude, I got a Dell!” NO kidding!! My mom bought me, her grown daughter, a brand new Dell for Christmas! IT WAS AWESOME!
Anyway, my husband doesn’t like computers. So, typically, I like to spend time on the computer by myself, meaning when nobody is around. I will often get up early and check my email and stuff. I also like to play games. More recently, however, I have blogging! I haven’t been journaling like I normally do. I come here to blog… It’s probably healthier too.
Normally I would whine and pout about the negativity, one way or another. But here I don’t like to complain so much. I touch on the BS and move on… That’s good, right? I mean who wants to listen to a whiner? Of course I had good entries as well. But I am one confused person. So my journal would mostly be negative, how could I change things kind of stuff. That’s no fun!
Well, since my son is now awake and getting dressed I must pry my fingers from the keyboard and get my butt upstairs and get dressed myself!
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
